Itinerary

DAY 1

Phuentsholing to Thimphu
  • After arriving at Bagdora airport, you will be transferred to Phuentsholing which takes around 4hrs hours’ drive. 153km On arrival to Phuentsholing, will do immigration formalities and process to Thimphu 5 hours’ drive 150km. on arrival in Thimphu, you will do some sightseeing in the evening. Our guide and driver will take you to the view point to see Thimphu city within one umbrella.

DAY 2

Thimphu
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to the FESTIVAL in the Thimphu fortress courtyard. You will witness different kinds of mask dances till noontime. After your lunch in the town, you will proceed to the folk heritage where you will you will find the ancient antiques and displays, you can spend time inside the museum looking at the displays.

DAY 3

Thimphu to Punakha
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed towards Punakha which is old capital city of Bhutan. On the way, you will stop by the dochula pass and enjoy the breath-taking scene around. Then you will further proceed towards Punakha. When you reach there, you will be visiting the Punakha dzong which is built in 1637 by the zhabdrung. You will see pure Tibetan-Bhutanese architecture. After your lunch around, you will visit to the longest and oldest suspension bridge. In the evening your guide will take you to the village to explore. Rest in the hotel.

DAY 4

Punakha to paro
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to Paro which is 105km 2.5hrs drive. On the way, you will visit Lamperi botanical garden and enjoy the scene for at least an hour. When you reach paro, you can have a walk around the town exploring the traditional Bhutanese house and way the Bhutanese people do business.

DAY 5

Paro
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed the hike to the Tiger’s Nest monastery which is 4 hours hike up and down for men. You will see a temple in the middle of the cliff which the cliff was mediated by the padmasambava in the 8th century. If you have ample time then you will visit to kichu lakhang which is built in 14th century or you can decide to visit other places as per your wish.

DAY 6

Paro
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will visit to the Chelela pass which is highest motorable road in the country and explore the beauty of Himalayan Mountain ranges. If you have enough time, you can visit to Haa valley or you can have a view from the chelela pass and back to paro and explore paro dzong or national museum of Bhutan. And you can do shopping in the evening.

DAY 7

Paro to Phuentsholing
  • After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed towards phuentsholing which is 4.5 hours’ drive. Our team will drop you till bagdora airport or till Siliguri.
