Bhutan, known as the Land of the Thunder Dragon, is a small Himalayan kingdom renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and strong commitment to Gross National Happiness. It is the world's only carbon-negative country, preserving its pristine environment through sustainable policies. Bhutan maintains a deep-rooted Buddhist tradition, reflected in its monasteries, dzongs, and annual festivals like Tshechu. The country limits mass tourism, ensuring an exclusive and eco-friendly travel experience. With breathtaking mountain ranges, lush valleys, and a peaceful way of life, Bhutan remains one of the most unique and serene destinations in the world.
After breakfast, we proceed to making permit for all travellers. After completing entrance formalities, we take you to Thimphu, Capital of Bhutan & one of the biggest city in Bhutan. Evening is for leisure and to roam local market. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu which includes Tashichho Dzong - Fortress in Thimphu, National Memorial Chorten, Handicraft Emporium, Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Kuensel Phodrang – world’s largest sitting Buddha’s statue, BBS Tower – provide vantage point view of the Thimphu Valley. Evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu. Note: On a weekend, tourist can also visit weekend market – one interesting market with local items at a good price.
After breakfast, proceed to Punakha. En – route take a halt at Dochu La Pass for 360 degree panoramic view of vast Himalaya in Bhutan. Enjoy lunch at newly open restaurant Druk Wangyel cafe and visit Punakha Dzong & Chimi Lakhang on the way to Punakha. Evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha.
After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to Paro. You will visit to the tachog Lhakhang which is built by Thangthong Gyalpo popularly known as IRON MAN in 14th century. In the evening you will have a city tour in Paro. Then you will proceed to the hotel and relax.
After breakfast you will have a trek to Bumdra which is almost 6 hours continues walk. You will be greeted by the camp people where they will come to receive you with the packed lunch on the way. You will reach in the camp and have a walk around the valley in the evening.
After Breakfast, We Proceed to World Famous Tiger Nest Monastery. It Will Take Your Full Day. One Needs to Do Some Trek to Visit This. Ponies are Available On Hire. Evening is for Leisure. Overnight At Paro.
After your breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to Chelela pass which is a highest motorable road in the country, you will able to see the highest peak of Himalaya, You can relax and walk around the pass and have your image captured perfectly in your camera. After your return from chelela pass, you will have lunch and do shopping in the town.
Our guide and driver will drop you to phuentsholing and further to bagdora airport for your ongoing journey.
